Ramsau High Plateau 18 km long, 4 km wide, elev. 1100 – 1400 m – sunny, richly forested high plateau that opens out to the south, ideal for leisurely hikes and walks - stops for refreshments at rustic inns and huts - clearly marked running and Nordic-Walking trails.

Hill Hikes – elev. 1700 to 1900 m - the high-pastures area of the  Ramsau is a true highlight of our 3-tier countryside.  Sunny hiking paths and trails interconnect the traditional hikers' refuges and hill farms.  Huts are open until the end of October - our littlest hikers will even get to earn special stamps for their achievements.   And with their own "Hill, Hut and Mountain Hiking Pass", the adults will feel like real winners as well.

Dachstein Glacier Region – Hiking from the Dachstein Glacier to the Dachsteinwartehütte, elev. 2700 m, ascent to the summit of the Hoher Dachstein, elev. 2003 m, glacier hike across the Dachstein Glacier to the Guttenberghaus – weekly hikes offered by the tourist office. Starting point for many ascents along fixed-rope climbing trails - an absolute highlight is "Der Johann", a climbing trail on the south face of the Dachstein.

Over 200 km of marked hiking trails - hut hikes - glacier hikes - summer downhill and cross-country skiing, a swimming paradise and sauna oasis, swimming lake with a giant swing and beach volleyball, forest high-ropes course, indoor tennis, 10 outdoor tennis courts, paragliding school, rafting, inline skating, riding stables with indoor riding, mini golf, bicycle rentals, bowling, trekking, KinderLand, pony stables, marked mountain-bike trails - MTB rentals, Nature & Environmental Path for children, cafes, discos, evenings of dance and live entertainment.
